Goddess On Earth: Women of Essex County, A Multi-Media Installation by Lisa Levart

Luna Stage is proud to present Goddess on Earth, award winning photographer Lisa Levart’s ongoing multi-media installation that celebrates the strength and self-esteem of contemporary women and girls by photographing them portraying ancient archetypes and sacred myths.

The Project has been seen in a variety of venues across America and has included such well known women as Isabel Allende (author), Olympia Dukakis (actress), Nomfundo Walaza (CEO of Desmond Tutu Peace Trust), Gloria Feldt (former CEO Planned Parenthood/founder – Take the Lead) and Kathy Eldon (founder – Creative Visions).

Goddess On Earth: Women Of Essex County will feature images from Levart’s award winning book “Goddess on Earth, Portraits of the Divine Feminine,” (GOLD Nautilus Book Award in 2012) plus newly commissioned images of three extraordinary females from our community.
